Ingredients for the Azerbaijan Dumplings Recipe

For the dough

  • 200 g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 glass of water

For the stuffing

  • 100 g fatty lamb mince
  • 100 g ground beef
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of black pepper
  • 500 g yoghurt

How to Make Azerbaijan Dumplings?

  • Knead all the ingredients for the dough in a bowl and let it rest when it reaches a non-sticky consistency.
  • Prepare the stuffing by mixing the minced meat, onion, salt and pepper in a bowl.
  • Cut the dough thinly and cut it into rounds, put the minced meat in the middle and give it a special shape. Then boil in medium salt water and serve with yogurt.
