Milk Broccoli Soup with Chicken Ingredients

1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 onion
1 clove of garlic – crushed
200 gr. broccoli
1 tablespoon of ground almonds
1 small pinch of cinnamon
Salt
Black pepper
500 ml. water – 2.5 cups
500 ml. milk – 2.5 cups
1 chicken breast – boiled and shredded

Materials for the Top

1 handful of almonds

Place chicken breast in a saucepan and Add water and cook.
Take the cooked chicken breast out of the water and shred it with a fork.
Put your pot on the stove and heat it.
Add olive oil and chopped onion to it and cook it until it softens.
Then add the sliced ​​garlic and the broccoli, which you cut off the big stem, into the pot and sauté.
Cook until the root parts of the broccoli are slightly soft.
Add ground almonds, cinnamon, salt and pepper and mix.
Add water, stir and mix. Cover the lid of your pot and cook for 10 minutes.
Then blend it with a hand blender until there are no lumps.
Add the milk and the shredded chicken and mix.
Cook for another 5 minutes and transfer to your serving bowl.

For the topping;

Take a small pan to the stove and heat it.
Add almonds in the heated pan and roast it until it turns brown.

To combine;

Take your cooked soup into your serving bowl and serve by pouring the roasted almonds on it.
