Chickpea Firik Rice

Firik Rice with Chickpeas Ingredients

1 tablespoon of olive oil
2 tablespoons of butter
1 onion – coarsely chopped
2 glasses of Firik bulgur
1 glass of bulgur with rice
1 glass of boiled chickpeas
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
1 tablespoon of pepper paste
3 glasses of broth
3 glasses of water
Salt
Black Pepper
Dried mint

Put your pot on the stove and heat it up.
Add olive oil and butter to it and melt it.
Add the coarsely chopped onions to your pot and let them soften. Saute until.
Rinse your bulgur for a round of water and add to your pot and turn it over.
Add boiled chickpeas, tomato paste and pepper paste and mix.
Add the broth and stir.
Salt Add , black pepper and dried mint and mix.
Cover the lid of your pot and cook it on medium heat until it boils, then cook it on low heat until the water is absorbed.
Mix well and cover it with a paper towel and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
