Strawberry Cream Cheese French Toast Roll Ups are pan-fried, coated in cinnamon sugar and dusted with powdered sugar. They are a breakfast experience like no other! They’re so berry good you won’t be able to stop dipping!

My kids love anything they can eat with their hands. Perhaps the bar is not set very high! But not only are these stuffed French toast rolls so fun to dip, they’re so, so delicious. Strawberries, cream cheese, cinnamon sugar, oh my!

They are sautéed in butter for a crispy outside while the inside is creamy and sweet.

This recipe is a fun, fruity twist on my French Toast Roll Ups. It’s one of my most popular recipes for a reason! These delicious French Toast Roll-Ups are easy to make and fun to eat. They’re a creative breakfast treat for any day of the week!

What do I need to make French Toast Roll Ups with Strawberry Cream Cheese?

  • Soft white bread, crusts cut off
  • Cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • powdered sugar
  • Chopped strawberries
  • Big Eggs
  • milk
  • butter
  • granulated sugar
  • Cinammon
  • maple syrup for serving

How to Make French Toast Roll Ups with Strawberry Cream Cheese

  • In a small bowl, stir together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until well combined.
  • In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs and milk. Put aside.
  • In another small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons granulated sugar with 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Put aside.
  • After removing the crusts from each piece of bread, use a rolling pin to roll out a disk to about 1/8 inch thick.

  • Spread each slice of bread with a heaping teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture.
  • Sprinkle with 1 tbsp chopped strawberries.
  • Roll up the bread tightly.
  • Repeat with the remaining bread slices, cream cheese mixture and chopped strawberries.

  • In a large non-stick skillet, add 3 tablespoons butter and melt over medium-high heat. (If using a small skillet, use only 2 tablespoons butter and sear the rolls in two batches)
  • Dip each roll individually in the egg mixture and place in the sauté pan. Fry the rolls in the pan for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown and slightly crispy on the outside.
  • Transfer to a work surface and sprinkle each roll generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  • Serve immediately with powdered sugar and maple syrup for dipping.

How to Store and Reheat French Toast Roll Ups

Store leftover french toast rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

warm up in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes, in the microwave at 30 second intervals, until heated through. To reheat on the stovetop, add some butter to a pan over medium-high heat until the outside is crispy and warmed through again.

Freezeallow to cool completely, wrap individually in plastic wrap and store in the freezer in a freezer safe container or bag for up to 2 months.

To thawrefrigerate overnight and reheat according to above instructions.

For warming up frozen food, place on a baking sheet in the oven at 350 for about 15 minutes. Or heat it in a toaster oven until heated through and crispy on the outside again.

  • 12 Cut soft white bread into slices, cut off the crust
  • 1/2 cup Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup chopped strawberries (approx 8th strawberries)
  • 2 Big Eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter, for frying pan
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Cinammon
  • melted peanut butter, for drizzling
  • maple syrup for serving


  1. In a small bowl, stir together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until well combined.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs and milk. Put aside.
  3. In another small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons granulated sugar with 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Put aside.

Spread each slice with 1 heaping teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture, then sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of chopped strawberries. Roll up tightly.
