  3. Venus is a terrestrial planet, meaning it’s small and rocky.
  4. Venus rotates in the opposite direction of most planets, including Earth.
  5. The rotation of Venus is very slow. It takes about 243 Earth days to rotate just once.

  4. Venus is considered Earth’s twin because they are similar in size, mass, density, composition and gravity and probably had water thousands of years ago.
  5. Venus can be seen without a telescope!
