Have you ever wondered who makes Kirkland products? When I’m at Costco, I know I’m going to get a great product when I pick up the products under the store’s own brand, Kirkland Signatures. Not only is the cost of the product low, but the quality is still top notch. There is actually a reason…

Costco Wholesale Corporation is a members-only store and the second largest retailer in the United States.

Who Makes Costco Kirkland Products?

5. Kirkland Parmesan Cheese is made by…

Kirkland Parmigiano Reggiano – Italians take their cheese seriously. This means that a cheese cannot simply call itself Parmigiano Reggiano. They must come from a specific Italian region and meet very strict standards. Costco’s 24 Month Aged Parmigiano Reggiano does just that. Want confirmation? Look at the packaging. The cheese is exported by Formaggi Zanetti.

6. Kirkland Chocolate Covered Almonds are made by…

Kirkland batteries – I used to be skeptical about brand name batteries. But when it comes to Costco, I should have known better. CEO of Costco confirmed that Kirkland brand batteries are actually made by Duracell!

8. Kirkland paper plates are made by…

Kirkland Chinet mugs – This is no surprise considering the Kirkland packaging for the red plastic cups has ‘Chinet’ front and center. Chinet has been manufacturing disposable tableware for more than 90 years.

Costco carries well-known brands under the Kirkland name

These are just a handful of the big brands that make Costco’s popular Kirkland merchandise.

While some of Kirkland’s third-party manufacturers are kept secret, one thing is certain: when you buy Kirkland, you’re getting merchandise of the highest quality.
