If you’ve been looking for healthier alternatives to your favorite candy bars, look no further!

Hershey’s is officially releasing plant-based chocolate bars and we’re all for it!

The Hershey Company

The two candy bars being redesigned with plant-based ingredients are the Reese’s and Hershey’s candy bars.

Both options are considered vegan.

The Hershey Company

The Reese’s Plant Based Peanut Butter Cup is described as an oatmeal chocolate confection and peanut butter.

Hershey’s plant-based chocolate bar is described as an oat chocolate confection made with extra creamy almonds and sea salt. YUM!

The Hershey Company

Hershey said consumers want choice and are looking for products they feel are healthier or have fewer ingredients, including reduced-sugar and plant-based options.

The Hershey Company

The Reese’s Plant Based Peanut Butter Cups will go on sale this month, while the Hershey’s Plant Based Extra Creamy with Almonds and Sea Salt will go on sale in April.

It’s important to note that the herbal versions will cost more. Retailers ultimately set final prices, but Rite Aid has a 1.4-ounce package with two plant-based Reese’s Cups for $2.49, which is about a dollar more than regular Reese’s.

I don’t know about you, but I’m excited to try these out!
