How to build a robot
Anyone who knows me knows that I only care about design recycled craft. I save all my toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, empty cans, yogurt containers, plastic lids, snack boxes and the list goes on. So I dug into my recycling stash to come up with it quirky cereal box robot You can do with the kids! A recycled robot vehicle has to be one of my best ideas so far.
Crafting is a wonderful bonding time and also a good time to teach children. Like the importance of taking care of our planet. Recycling and upcycling are two ways to do this. Accessories needed to craft a recycled robot
This robot is made from various recycled items. There is of course the cereal box, but also empty vegetable cans, a paper towel and a number of lids that I have kept. Use whatever you have to craft your recycled robot!



You will need:
How to make a super awesome robot from recycled materials



Step 1
To add some weight to the robot’s body, you should put something in the cereal box first. I used an old sweatshirt. An old towel, a bag of dried beans, lots of crumpled newspaper, you can do that!
step 2
Wrap the cereal box in aluminum foil and secure with tape.
step 3
Use a craft knife to carve holes for the arms in the side of the box.
step 4
Cut the paper towel roll in half and wrap both halves in aluminum foil.
step 5
Insert the tubes into the sides of the cereal box.

Wrap each can in aluminum foil.
step 7
Use different lids to decorate the front of the cereal box.
step 8
Glue the lid to the large can for eyes; then glue bottle caps to the lids for the pupils.

Glue on a metal nut as a nose.

Draw several lines on white paper, and then draw a single line through those lines. Use scissors to cut the mouth out of the lined paper and glue it to the tin can.

Wrap silver pipe cleaner around a stick and then glue it inside the big tin.

Glue the head and legs onto the cereal box to complete your robot.
