Istanbul Rice Ingredients
1 handful of unshelled raw almonds
1 handful of unsalted rice and pistachios
2 tablespoons of butter
1 tablespoon of sunflower oil
2 glasses of rice
¾ glass of peas – boiled
1 teaspoon of powdered turmeric
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Salt
Black pepper
1.5 water glass of broth
1 – 1.5 glasses of water
Put your rice cooker on the stove and heat it.
Take your unshelled almonds into your pot and roast them.
When your almonds are roasted, add pistachios and continue roasting .
Add the butter and sunflower oil and mix.
Then add in the rice and fry it.
Add the peas and mix.
Add the turmeric, cinnamon, salt and pepper and mix.
br/> Then add the water and close the lid and cook on medium heat until it boils, after boiling, on low heat until the water evaporates.
