Wheat Soup with Lentils
1 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 onion
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
1 full pinch dried mint
1 glass of green lentils – boiled
1 glass of ashura wheat – boiled
Salt
Black pepper
Red pepper flakes
5 glasses of water
Chop your onion finely.
Take your pan to the stove, add butter and olive oil and heat it up.
When your oil is hot, add the chopped onions and fry them.
When your onions turn pink, add tomato paste and continue frying.
Add a little water to lighten the tomato paste and keep stirring.
Then add the boiled green lentils and wheat into it.
Add salt, black pepper, mint and chili peppers and mix.
Add the water, mix everything for a few turns and close the lid.
Cook on medium heat until it boils, then on low heat after boiling.
