Supplies required to craft this jellyfish in a bottle craft
Here’s what you need to make a jellyfish in a bottle:
How to make a jellyfish in a bottle
Step 1
Gather the foil paper so the center forms a bubble shape (this will be the jellyfish’s head!) and cut the bottom of the paper into long thin strips. Remove the excess paper so there are between 5 and 10 “tentacles”.

step 2
Put some water in the jellyfish’s head (you don’t want to fill it completely) and then blow some air into it. Use the elastic to close the head to keep the water from escaping.

Now you can put your finished jellyfish in the bottle!
step 3
Fill the bottle 3/4 full with water. Add a few drops of food coloring and put the lid back on. Shake to mix the food coloring in the bottle.

step 4
Slide the jellyfish into the bottle and use the skewer to push it all the way down. Fill the bottle with water to the end. Glue the lid on top.

If you turn the bottle upside down, the jellyfish will swim back up. It’s so cool!
