Meatball Ingredients

Ingredients for Bulgur Balls

500 gr. fine bulgur for meatballs
1 glass of flour
3 tablespoons of butter – melted
As much water as it takes
Salt

Ingredients for Roasted Sauce

1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon of butter
2 onions
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
100 – 150 gr. roasting
Dried mint
Dried thyme
Red pepper flakes

Ingredients to serve

3 – 4 tablespoons of strained yogurt
2 cloves of garlic – crushed

For bulgur balls;

Put the fine bulgur in a mixing bowl.
Start kneading by adding flour and water little by little.
Add the melted butter and salt and continue kneading.
Knead until you get a dough that does not stick to the hand.
Take marble-sized pieces from the dough you have prepared and roll it out by wetting your hands.
Take your pot to the stove and put water in it. Add it and boil it.
Take the bulgur balls that you have prepared by adding salt to your boiling water and boil them.

For the roasted sauce;

Put your pan on the stove and heat it up.
Take the olive oil and butter in your pan and melt the butter.
Add the onion to it and until it softens Fry it.
When the onions soften, add tomato paste and continue frying.
Then add roasted mint, dried thyme and red pepper flakes and mix.

NOTE :

Your sauce is too hot. If it stays dry, you can add the bulgur balls from the boiled water into it.

To combine;

Mix strained yogurt and crushed garlic in a mixing bowl.
Put the boiled bulgur patties on a serving plate.
Garlic yogurt on top Drizzle.
Add the roasted sauce on the yoghurt and serve.
