Ingredients for Mussel Dessert Recipe

  • 4-5 glasses of flour

  • 3.5 glasses of sugar
  • 2-3 drops of lemon

How to Make Mussel Dessert?

  • For the sherbet; First of all, put the sugar and water in the pot and let it boil.
  • When the sherbet starts to boil, add lemon juice into it. After boiling for 5 more minutes, remove from heat and let it cool.
  • For the dough; Put the dough ingredients except starch, butter and pistachio in the mixing bowl.
  • Knead the ingredients to get a soft consistency.
  • Separate the dough into 20 pieces and let it rest for 30 minutes. < li> Divide the meringues into 2. In the first stage, only 10 meringues are used.
  • Open the meringues one by one as the size of a cake plate and put them on top of each other.
  • After opening 10 pieces on top of each other, open them as a single dough. .
  • Roll the dough tightly. Cut the roll in width of a finger.
  • Slightly open the pieces you have cut by tilting them with the roller.
  • Pass the pistachios through a blender and turn them into small pieces.
  • Pistachio in the middle of the dough you opened. Place it and close it like a pastry.
  • Grease the baking tray and place the dough on the tray.
  • Prepare the remaining 10 meringues in the same way and place them on the tray.
  • Shape on the doughs.
  • Then melt the butter in a pan and spread it over the dough with a spoon.
  • Bake the desserts in a preheated 180-degree oven until they are browned.
  • After taking the dessert out of the oven, pour the cooled sherbet over it.
