Do you remember the original Pom Pom Friends?

Remember those little pompom boys with sticky feet from the 1980s? Restaurants and shops advertised them and schools gave them away to children as reading rewards? I had a BIG collection of these pinned to the bulletin board above my desk and loved carrying them on my shoulder!

You don’t see them anymore… and to be honest, I’m not even sure what their names are. This past weekend my son and I made a few and decided to give them a call Pom Pom Friends. He loved her as much as I did back in 1987!
