Potato Ingredients
4 potatoes – grater
1 carrot – grater
4 sprigs of spring onions
¼ bunch of parsley
¼ bunch of dill
4 sprigs of fresh mint
4 eggs
1 – 2 handfuls of walnuts – coarsely crushed
3 teaspoons of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1 glass of water flour
1 pack of baking powder
Ingredients for frying
Olive oil
Ingredients for serving
2 tablespoons of strained yoghurt
½ zest of lime
2 – 3 sprigs of dill
Grade the potato and carrot and squeeze out excess water by squeezing it with cheesecloth.
Finely chop the spring onions, parsley, dill and fresh mint.< br/> Put everything in a mixing bowl.
Add egg on top and mix.
Add finely chopped walnuts, salt and pepper and mix.
Then add baking powder and flour and mix.
* Add the flour slowly, looking at its consistency.
To combine;
Put olive oil in a pan and Heat it up.
Take 1 tablespoon of the mortar and put it in the heated pan.
Prepare the other mortar in the same way.
Cook until both sides of your mucver are well browned.
Remove to a plate and remove excess oil.
To serve;
Mix the strained yogurt and lime zest in a bowl.
Garnish it with dill and serve it with your hash browns.
