Ingredients for Potato Pastry Recipe

  • Half a glass of butter

Let’s take the milk into the mixing bowl, separate the yolk of one of the oil eggs and take the other one into the mixing bowl, let’s add the yeast and mix it well with our hands (the yeast should dissolve)  The flour Let’s add it slowly, knead it until it comes to a consistency (it will be a soft dough), let’s cover it and set it aside to leaven.

Let’s cut the boiled potato into small pieces, take it in a bowl, add the cheese and mix it.

When our dough is fermented, let’s divide it into 2 equal parts, sprinkle flour on the workbench, roll out a rectangular dough, spread it with melted and cooled butter, spread half of the stuffing on the dough, wrap the dough in the form of a roll. Let’s cut slices about 3 cm wide and place them on the tray, press them lightly with our hands. Mix 1 egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of butter on it. Let it cook at 200 degrees until golden brown. After cooking, wrap it in a clean cotton kitchen cloth. Store in a covered container when warm, as it may dry out.
