Ingredients for the Salted Roll Cake Recipe
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 carrot
- 1/3 bunch parsley
- 1/3 bunch dill
- 1/3 bunch mint
- 3 spring onions
- 1 potato
- 40 ml oil
- 2 tablespoons of yogurt
- 10 g baking powder
- 1.5 cups of flour < li>200 gr labneh
How to Make Salted Roll Cake?
- Wash parsley, dill, mint and onion, dry. It is finely chopped.
- The potatoes and carrots are washed, peeled and grated.
- The eggs are cracked into a dry bowl. Whisk until it rises and turns pale yellow.
- Potato and carrot are added by squeezing out the excess water, and the mixture is mixed without deflating the air of the egg mixture.
- Add yogurt and oil and continue mixing.
- Flour is added and after it gets a homogeneous consistency, the remaining greens and ingredients are added and mixed.
- A greaseproof paper is placed on the baking tray.
- It is poured into the baking tray in equal thickness.
- It is cooked in a controlled oven at 190 degrees for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
- A new greaseproof paper is laid on the counter. The cake that comes out of the oven is removed from the greaseproof paper and placed on the counter while it is still hot. It is folded in the form of a roll and waited for it to cool.
- The labneh is whipped for the filling, white cheese or greens is added to it, if desired, and spread into the cooled cake. It is made into a roll again.
- It is sliced and served. Bon appetit.
