Small Pita Ingredients

Ingredients for Dough

20 gr. fresh yeast or 8 gr. dry yeast
1 + ¾ glass of warm water
1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
1 heaped tablespoon of yogurt
1 tablespoon of sunflower oil
4,5 – 5 water glass of flour
1 pinch of salt
1 tablespoon of butter – after cooking

Materials for Stuffing

1 tablespoon of olive oil
200 gr. ground beef
1 onion – finely chopped
1 tomato – finely diced
6 green peppers – finely chopped
1 finger sausage – finely diced
4 tablespoon of sunflower oil
1 teaspoon of tomato paste
Salt
Black pepper

For the dough;

Water in a mixing bowl, powder Mix the sugar and yeast. > Add the yeast mixture and mix it first with a fork.
When the flour and yeast mixture is mixed a little, add the salt from the edges of the dough and knead well by hand.
If your dough requires flour, continue kneading by adding flour.
Wrap it with cling film in an airtight manner and set it aside to ferment for 1 hour.

For the stuffing;

Put a pan on the stove and heat it.
Add olive oil and add the ground beef and fry it by mashing lightly until it releases its juice.
Add onion and pepper and fry well.
Add tomato paste, sausage, tomato, salt and black pepper on it and mix.

To assemble;

Re-knead your dough and break off lemon-sized pieces from the dough.
Flour your counter and open the dough in a round shape.
Put it in the minced meat mortar you prepared.
You can also give it a regular pita shape if you want.
Prepare all your dough in the same way.
Place all your pitas on your baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
