Sour Meatball Ingredients

Ingredients for Meatballs

350 gr. ground beef
¼ cup of rice – boiled for 5 minutes and drained
1 onion – grated
1 egg
Black pepper
Flour – to coat the meatballs

Ingredients for Vegetables

Olive oil
2 carrots – sliced
7 glasses of hot water
1 celery – diced
2 potatoes – diced

Ingredients for the Roasted Berries

Yolk of 1 egg
Juice of 1 lemon

For the meatballs;

Boil the rice in very little water until soft, drain and set aside.
Knead the ground beef, lightly cooked rice, grated onion, egg, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.< br/> Pour flour on a wide tray and spread it out.
Make meatballs with minced meat, slightly larger than marbles, and place them on a floured tray.
After preparing all the meatballs, shake the tray and flour all the meatballs thoroughly.

For vegetables;

Put the pot on the stove and add olive oil and heat it.
Add the sliced ​​carrots and saute for 1 minute.
Add hot water and Let it boil.
Add the meatballs you have kept in the flour, and after 1 minute, add the cubed celery and potatoes to the pot.
Cover the pot and let it cook for 20 – 25 minutes.
Egg yolk in a mixing bowl and lemon juice and mix.
Take a ladle of the water from the cooked sour meatballs and whisk them all the time.
Add a few more ladles of water in the same way to cool the mixture.
Then pour the egg mixture over the meatballs and mix.< br/> Serve hot.
