Ingredients for the Stuffed Leek Recipe

  • White part of 1 kg of leek
  • 500 g medium-fat ground beef
  • 1 tea glass of rice
  • 1 onion
  • 5 sprigs of parsley
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Half a teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste

How to make Stuffed Leek?

Cut the white part of the leek into 10 cm lengths. Add to boiling salted water in a large pot and boil for a few minutes to stay fresh. Take them out in a strainer, run them through cold water and remove them so that there are 2 layers of leeks and keep them aside. Take the mince in a bowl. Chop the onion for food, wash the rice and add it. Chop the parsley, add salt, pepper and tomato paste and mix well. Stuff the leeks with minced meat. Arrange a row of leek leaves at the bottom of the pot and arrange the stuffing on it. Add enough hot water and butter to rise slightly above the leeks. Cook on low heat. Serve hot.
